Improving your ability to hit a certain shot is important.

Understanding how this improvement occurred, why you hit a shot a certain way, and when is the right time to use this shot is even more important.

We teach the how's, why's, and when's - not just the execution.

To be a successful high level player, you must be a successful student. Thus, we expect all Academy players to be prepared to learn, and to incorporate what they learn in the classroom, on the court.  Ultimately, the best players are their own best teachers and coaches.  Thus, the Academy makes a concerted effort to not only help each player become much more knowledgeable about the game and their own development, but also to become their own best teacher, coach, and leader of other students.

To accomplish this the Academy provides a full curriculum of education components necessary for a developing player to be prepared to train at the highest level and compete at the highest level.  The knowledge we share addresses a variety of subjects including; technical areas of movement and stroke production, rules and codes of conduct, developing successful playing styles, tactics and strategies, goal setting, player scouting, game and match management, and school team recruiting and try-outs.

For our most advanced players, areas such; competing at the national, collegiate and ITF level are also addressed so that players will be well prepared when they are ready to move up to this level of play.
